Birch Sweet essential oil has a sweet, woody and minty aroma. It is steam distilled from the bark of the Birch tree.
It is often used to reduce pain in the joints and muscles, as well as pain associated with headaches and toothaches. It is also antispasmodic that can relieve cramping and can be used for massage applications. Along with being an analgesic, it is also a diuretic, antiseptic, astringent, germicide and insecticide.
Cosmetically, it makes an effective skin tonic, that has a tightening effect and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
