Babassu Virgin Oil is produced in the pure environment of the Amazonian Rainforest. It is similar to Coconut Oil in that it comes from the palm fruit, is solid at room temperature and melts on contact with the skin. It contains the same vitamins and fatty acids. However, it does have a lighter consistency than Coconut Oil, and is more easily absorbed by the skin, leaving little greasy residue.  It is thought to boost cell turnover.

Cosmetically it deeply moisturises the skin, has anti-microbial properties and is a natural anti-inflammatory, due to it's high lauric acid content. It contains a high level of vitamin E, which helps to increase cell regeneration.
