Geranium Floral Water is produced by steam distillation. Plant material such as flowers, leaves and bark are steamed until the molecules burst open and release their molecules, along with the plant's cellular water. This forms an oil and water mixture which is then cooled and the water part separated, thus making the hydrosol.
Hydrosol/ floral water retains all the benefits and properties of the plant.
Floral Waters are free of emulsifying agents and preservatives and can be used in the manufacturing process anywhere that water is required.
