Rosemary Essential Oil:

Rosemary Essential Oil has a strong, fresh, minty aroma, with a slightly woody undertone. Rosemary Oil contains antimicrobial, antioxidant and antiseptic properties.

It is a very popular oil for aromatherapy applications, and is known to improve mental clarity and boost memory recall. It reduces pain in muscles and joints and is used as a mild analgesic. It is thought to improve circulation and may help with cold fingers and toes, when massaged topically to those areas. It works well in diffusers, and can be used as a steam inhalation.

Cosmetically, Rosemary essential oil is purifying and detoxing to the skin. It is slightly astringent and helps to keep the complexion clear. It has antimicrobial properties and is helpful in combating acne and is thought to aid lymphatic drainage, helping to expel toxins.  It is thought to stimulate hair growth, and is used in many hair preparations. It can be seeped in boiling water, cooled, and used as a final rinse on the hair, to add sheen.
