Petitgrain Essential Oil is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree. It has the zesty aroma of oranges, yet with a woody, slightly bitter, herbaceous undertone. 

Petitgrain is popular for use in household cleaners due to its fresh aroma and it's powerful antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties. It is thought to boost concentration, and help ease anxiety and promote restful sleep. 

Cosmetically, it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and can help to clear skin blemishes and balance oily skin. When diluted with a carrier oil, it makes a fragrant face oil.
