Our refined Cocoa Butter is 100% pure and natural. Producing cocoa butter is a labour intensive process, consisting of many stages, such as harvesting and roasting the beans, then grinding them and/or heating them to separate the cocoa solids from the cocoa fat/butter. Refined cocoa butter has a creamy/white colour and a neutral scent, so it is odourless.

Cocoa butter has numerous benefits and uses. It is rich in fatty acids which can help hydrate skin and improve elasticity. It is also rich in phytochemicals which are natural plant compounds that boost circulation to the skin, and so make an excellent addition to massage products.

Refined cocoa butter can form the base of many cosmetic products. It will help to moisturise and nourish the skin. It is popularly used in moisturisers and lotions, lip balms, lotions bars, soaps and body butters. 

Cocoa butter can also help moisturise dry hair ends while applying the melted product to the scalp is thought to help improve hair loss. 

This cocoa butter is not suitable for food purposes.
