Buriti Virgin Oil is sourced from agroforestry systems within the Amazonian Rainforest.

It is extremely high in vitamin E (tocopherols), and is one of the most abundant sources of vitamin A (carotenoids) available. These rich, unsaturated fatty acids can help to rebuild, moisturise and re-hydrate skin cells.

INCI: Mauritia Flexuosa.

Extraction: Cold Pressed.

Suitable for use in:

Healing to sun damaged skin, this oil contains a natural sunscreen. It is highly suitable for products that aim to heal damaged and dry skin. It can be applied directly to injuries such as burns, and is helpful in forming scar tissue. It may leave a slight oily residue on the skin, and could stain sheets if used in massage applications. It can be smoothed onto skin, for wonderful rejuvenating benefits.
