Information:

Babassu Virgin Oil is produced in the Amazonian Rainforest. It is similar to Coconut Oil in that it comes from the palm fruit, is solid at room temperature and melts on contact with the skin. It contains the same vitamins and fatty acids. However, it does have a lighter consistency than Coconut Oil, and is more easily absorbed by the skin, leaving little greasy residue.

Inci: Orbignya Oleifera.

Extraction: Cold Pressed.

Part of Plant: Palm Fruit Kernels.

Colour: Light Yellow to White.

Aroma: Neutral.

Properties:

This wonderful Rainforest Oil is perfect for aiding chapped lips, sunburn and other burns, cuts and cracked skin. It helps skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and rosacea and soothes redness and inflammation. It is often used to sooth bug bites and stings, along with rashes. 

Cosmetically it deeply moisturises the skin, has anti-microbial properties and is a natural anti-inflammatory, due to it's high lauric acid content. It contains a high level of vitamin E, which helps to increase cell regeneration.
